Virtual Park Audio Tour Volunteer Project
About the Project:
Thank you for participating in Emancipation Park Conservancy's Virtual Park Audio Tour Volunteer Project virtually during our Black History Month celebration. As Black History Month is an annual celebration of achievements by African Americans and a time for recognizing their central role in U.S. history, your participation in this very important project is instrumental in helping the Conservancy enhance its educational, historic, and entertaining virtual tour. The results helps us fulfill our mission: to enhance Emancipation Park by preserving its integrity and enriching its heritage as a local, state, national, and international landmark.
Volunteer Registration:
- Complete the registration form on this page
- Be sure to check your email (and your junk/spam mail) for your registration confirmation - it will include the links to the survey and the tour.
Volunteer Project:
- Project Timeline: February 1-15, 2021
- Review the survey in its entirety prior to taking the tour
- Take the 35-minute Historic Emancipation Park Virtual Audio Tour, which includes 19 tour points around the park. As you take the tour, please take notes and suggestions to the improvement of the tour and sharing your experience from beginning to end
- Capture your notes in the survey and submit
